Why are you celebrating a Cornish Day in Brainerd MN?

Because Minnesota, United States is Where I am now is awesome just like Cornwall where I grew up!

  • The place is beautiful

Minnesota:

Gold Coast

Cornwall:

Cornwall beach

  • Its Warmer than the rest of the country

  • All the best farming and produce come from ‘ere

  • We’ve both captured tropical rainforests in a bloody dome

Helicopter

When I was a kid we used to see Peter De Savary on Spotlight swooping in on his helicopter to visit Land’s End. On Monday I got my first helicopter, a gift from Google United States for being a Google Partner. We decorated for today with the Cornish Flag.

  1. You're awesome! Love this post, and yes in every comparison I'd pick Kernow over MN. But if I've gotta be stuck somewhere outside the homeland it might as well be here! 😛 (except for that crazy 6° business last night - felt like I was back in Penzance! )
