The next in our serious of unfortunate confusion related to Google+ relates to Google Plus for Business. I've read many articles on it but only through trial and error do I finally think I get it.
- All your old Google Places accounts are still active and appearing in the local listings. The back end is still functional. For some reason you can still make Places listings this way but it's a waste of time.
- If you are going to go local now make a Google Plus for Business account instead. It has the same functionality right now as Places and then some.
- Plus for Business won't merge with your places listing (if you have one) until your Google Plus account gets verified.
- Make sure that you fill in ALL the information. Google reward thoroughness.
