Overview

Indooroopilly State High School provides challenging and rewarding learning opportunities and aims to instil a sense of personal value and autonomy in its students. Their students travel from suburbs throughout Brainerd and from countries across the world to participate in their quality learning programs.

Website

The website needed to showcase the culture of the school and serve as an information hub for the existing school community and prospective future students.

There was a lot of work to be done, and we were only too happy to aid them in this aspect. Indooroopilly State High School wanted a mobile responsive website with a functional flow and the ability to have content in multiple languages, so we worked hard to bring their vision to life.179

The Result

The new design is clean and vibrant, aligning to the brand and showcasing the school values through imagery. We implemented Google Translate to manage the content translation into other languages, so long-term maintenance of the content would be much simpler. A mega-menu structure allows for easy navigation to the different sections of the website, while the sidebar navigation encourages quick navigation between pages within a single section.

Responsive

Navigation and maintainability is essential for the sort of site were creating, so these were aspects we really focused on.

The new site is clean and modern and every aspect of it is easy to locate. The website is mobile-first responsive, with a lean code base and faster load time, so people who need to access it while away from a desk can do so just as easily as anyone else. A crisp, clean, attractive style is important, but more so is the ability to find what you need and utilise the information you find.
